About United Way of Hawkins County
Serving nonprofit agencies in Hawkins County, TN, and helping our neighbors through the agencies we fund and our free shoe program.
United Way of Hawkins County helps provide assistance to agencies in our community that offer health, character building, family resources and other essential programs in the Hawkins County, Tennessee area.
Our 2026/2027 funding goes to local nonprofit agencies that run emergency food pantries and a free medical clinic, rescue squads, advocacy for children, recovery resources, support for families battling cancer and services for area seniors.
Through Stepping Toward a Better Tomorrow, we also provide free new shoes for work, school and daily life. No referral is needed.
United Way of Hawkins County is led by volunteer board members and our Executive Director, Teresa Buttry.
